Election Hangover

The trouble with staying up late to get the final election results is that you wake up with a hangover.  A hangover that may last four or five years.

    Oh, it's not so bad. These people are no more arrogant, deceitful, manipulative or antisocial than the average politician.

    And considerably smarter, which clearly counts for something!

    Brian Mulroney's admiring appraisal of Jack Layton was a bit disturbing, considering that the NDP's great success was almost entirely in Quebec. "Un bon Jacques" he called him. Hmm!
